Minnal Quiz on Kerala Piravi

Kerala Piravi 1956 November 1st, the day Kerala state came into existence had to be celebrated by any Keralite devoid of any background. ASCE FISAT student chapter came up with an overnight plan to conduct an offline quiz cantering around Kerala. If some event has done justice to the name, then this stands first in the line. All planning and execution just happened in a snaps time. Our department HOD Dr Jiji Antony also felt the same level of excitement as ours and gave us full support to conduct the quiz.

The quiz was based on several facts about Kerala state and was planned as a class to class lightning aka മിന്നൽ quiz. Meanwhile we also arranged Laddoo for every single one in the department to mark Kerala’s birthday. ASCE members bombarded classes within the department with sweets and questions.

Every class was split into two groups and the quiz began. Each right answer was awarded with gifts, that included- assignment book, pen, pencil, eraser, ruler and sketch pen - all these essentials that civil engineering students usually don’t have when necessity calls😊. Students were in full energy to answer all the questions and everyone had a fun time taking part in it. The lightning activity was wrapped up by lunch time and marked yet another event in the ASCE roster.
