Day out!

Taking a break from academic work can be incredibly refreshing, offering a chance to unwind, bond with peers, and reconnect with nature. With this in mind, our M.Tech students, accompanied by Dr. Kavitha P.E. and Mr. Abhijith R., embarked on a memorable two-day trip to Munnar on 16th and 17th January 2025, a destination renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and lush tea plantations.

During our stay, we explored the iconic Munnar Tea Plantation, gaining insights into the region’s rich tea heritage. Nestled in a serene setting, our private resort provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploration. One of the highlights of the trip was a trek to Kolukkumalai, where we were rewarded with panoramic views of mist-covered hills stretching endlessly into the horizon. We also visited Top Station, a vantage point famous for its stunning views and cool mountain breeze.

This much-needed getaway was more than just a journey through scenic landscapes - it was an opportunity to recharge, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories. As we returned, we carried with us not just photographs but a renewed sense of energy and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of nature.
