Stay home, Stay safe

It's lockdown again, no academic activities. Covid is back with a vengeance, it has touched all of us one way or other. There are so many lost lives, the country is under siege. Back in January, when things were getting better, we hoped that everything will get better and we will be able to start contact classes, meet each other. No, it didn't happen, instead, things got worse.

The story is different during this second wave. Many faculty members as well as students are now directly affected. Every day, there is a bad news waiting for you. This is a real concern. Our state is managing somehow without a big crisis. But, it doesn't mean that things are fine. It can go wrong any time. The best way to protect ourselves is to stay at home and get vaccinated when our turn comes. Each one of us must play our part, not to spread the virus. Let us all do our bit and ensure that we can break the chain.

Most importantly, keep yourself healthy, both physically and mentally. Engage in meaningful activities, exercise at home, speak to friends often, share quality time with your family. Avoid travel, visits to friends, malls, avoid team sports. You can try reading, learn or try something new, keep yourself engaged. Follow the instructions given by the government. Call your teachers when you feel so, share your thoughts, concerns if any - they will also be happy to speak to you too. Do not hesitate to pick the phone and call. Above all, keep yourself Happy!!

As the wise say, this shall also pass. Stay Home, Stay Safe.
