Twentieth Institutional day celebrations 2021

The twentieth institutional day celebration was held on 23 September 2021. This day marks the first day of classes at FISAT in 2002. It is also a day to remember all those who contributed to the development of FISAT. Due to the restrictions of the pandemic, this year also the day was celebrated in the virtual mode. Dr. Manoj George, Principal, in his welcome speech highlighted the major achievements of FISAT during the past one year and how we were able to take FISAT one step forward in its journey to excellence. The leadership provided by the management team, the previous principals were acknowledged. 

The Chairman of governing body, Dr. P Anitha in her message acknowledged the contributions of the founding members of the management team, especially the leadership of Adv. P V Mathew, the founder chairman, who took the initiative to establish FISAT and to give it the shape which we see now. She acknowledged the contributions of every single person who has been a part of FISAT irrespective of the job role or the kind of association with FISAT. She appreciated the entire team for the good efforts they have put in to overcome the new challenges posed by the pandemic and the changing scenario of the engineering education sector in the country.

The best teacher award and the award for non teaching members were also announced. Dr. Arun Kumar M N, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering was recognised this year as the best teacher and and Mr. Shibu PS, Mechanical Engineering workshop Superintendent was chosen for the best performing non teaching staff.

All management committee members, members of FBOAES, faculty members, non teaching staff members, PTA and well wishers of FISAT attended the event.
