What a joy it was to welcome our alumni back to campus for the Alumni Meet held last evening, on of 20th December! Seeing familiar faces return, especially from our very first batch that graduated in 2006, filled the campus with nostalgia, smiles, and heartfelt conversations. With nearly 200 alumni joining the celebrations, the evening truly felt like a grand homecoming.
The South Quadrangle came alive with beautiful lights, creating a lively and festive ambience. It was a perfect mood for the gathering like this. Our South Quadrangle has a vibe which nothing can match.
The celebrations were made lovely by a delightful music show by our own campus band, FISAT Music Cult (FMC), where melodious tunes and mellow sounds kept everyone engaged and relaxed. The programme began around 6:00 PM and continued joyfully until 10:00 PM, with memories being revisited and new moments being created.
By the way, we also selected the new executive committee in a meeting held in the seminar hall. Ms. Meera Tressa Mathews, AP, CE, and Ms. Amala Mary, AP, CSE both of whom are alumni of our campus will be faculty in charges. One alumni from each brach is elected to the executive committee and they will decide the office bearers in a meeting that will be held in the beginning of next year!
Yes, there were photos, laughter, memories everywhere. The teachers also enjoyed, took photos, department wise! This is our civil bunch that turned out. We know that many of you wanted to come but, could not make it. Its okay, we look forward to meeting you all next year!
And don't forget, from this year onwards, we will be celebrating Alumni Day on the third Saturday of December every year, marking the beginning of a lasting tradition. It was indeed a wonderful and joyous evening, one that reminded us how strong and special our alumni bond truly is.
What a wonderful way to end the year!
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄✨
