Uyare!

The department  organized UYARE’25 (ഉയരെ), an alumni interaction event, on 25th November 2025,  where recent pass-out graduates returned to campus to share their early career experiences with current students. And guess what,  there were a bunch from the 2025 batch: Arya S, Anagha Krishnakumar, Sona S, Aleena Shaji, Ankita Kalyani S, Jasmin joy, Rudra Shaji KV, Keerthana Biju, Uthara, Joshual Joy and Mohamed Althaf.

The objective behind UYARE’25 was to help students understand the transition from campus to workplace through the perspectives of alumni who have recently entered professional roles. They shared firsthand insights into recruitment processes, industry expectations, workplace culture, and the skills required to adapt to real-world engineering and professional environments.

The interactive session enabled students to gain practical guidance on career planning, internships, placements, higher education opportunities, and skill development. 

Being recent graduates, the alumni were able to connect closely with the students, addressing their concerns and questions with clarity and relevance. Their experiences highlighted the importance of consistency, continuous learning, and effective communication in the initial years of a professional career.

The event also strengthened the sense of community at FISAT by reinforcing the bond between current students and alumni. Faculty members and coordinators supported the sessions, ensuring meaningful discussions and active participation.

UYARE’25 concluded on an inspiring note, motivating students to prepare confidently for their future paths while reminding alumni of their enduring connection with the institution. The event reaffirmed FISAT’s commitment to fostering mentorship, guidance, and holistic development through strong alumni engagement.
