Happy Retired Life, Ms. Surelamani

In 2014, when the civil engineering department was in its infant stage, Ms. Surelamani joined the small team in the department here as Trade Instructor.

She came in with a rich experience of 10 years in a similar role in an Engineering college.

Today, after 10 years, she is retiring and when we look back, her contributions have been very significant. Ms. Surelemani had taken up the assignment of setting up the labs as well as training the new technical staff here about managing labs, maintaining the equipment as well as the documentation.

The department will always remember her contributions in nurturing the laboratory facilities.

The retirement function for Ms. Surelamani was organised by the college on 30 April 2024. She was honoured by the Chairman and Principal during the official function held in the seminar hall.

The department honoured her for all the contributions in a separate function organised on 29 April.  As remarked by the Chairman, let this retirement be a second innings for her.

The department wishes her happy, healthy and peaceful retired life.
