Farewell Season

The last two weeks were the season of farewell in our campus, B.Tech & M.Tech 2022 graduating batch bidding farewell FISAT. Like all years, the farewell was organised by the departments, and today was the day - for our Civil Engineering Department. 

The farewell party for the B.Tech Civil Engineering and M.Tech Structural Engineering and Construction Management was celebrated today as two separate events. The B.Tech farewell party was held in the Main Seminar hall and the M.Tech, in the Department Seminar hall. It was great to see the young engineers all dressed up and in full glamour to celebrate the day. The day was filled with fun, everyone sharing their experiences and life in FISAT. One more batch is graduating the department wishes everyone the best in life.

INCEPTO'22

It was back in 2015 that we hosted the first inter college technical fest of the department, INCEPTO. Due to may reasons, we could not host it till this time. 

Yes, Incepto is back, back in full colour. The department is hosting INCEPTO'22, the intercollege technical fest during 30th and 31st May 2022. There are several events hosted as part of INCEPTO'22, including, Talk with Techie, Design and Software Workshop, Debate competition, Project Expo - Aavishkar, Idea Pitching Competition - Consilio, Model making competition, Cubix - cube strength competition, "Spiromania" - Tower making competition, Fun events like paint it red, performance by students and so on. And, there is change too, INCEPTO has a new logo one which portrays the department name. The logo was deigned by Akshay K M, S6 CEA. 

Its a great fun to see the students taking the leadership and organising such a large event. Check out the details here. The program is jointly organised by ASCE, ACE and ICI Kochi Chapter. Radio Mirchi is the media partner and there are several sponsors too.

SECON'22 Update

Our annual international conference SECON'22 - International Conference on Structural Engineering and Construction Management will be hosted during 1-2 June 2022 in online mode. This is the Sixth Edition of SECON. Visit http://secon22.fisat.ac.in to get the details.
