A three-member team comprising Ananthakrishnan V S, Aakash S Nair, and Abiram B Krishna of S6 CE from our campus was selected to present their idea at the Kochi city-level "Navanirman Challenge."
This competition was organised by NICMAR University, Pune, and was held on 7th March 2026 in Kochi.
Our student team presented their idea on "Inferential Sensing & Micro-Basin Zoning", A Proactive Surcharge Prediction System for Urban Flood Resilience.
After the first round which had participation from 40+ Engineering colleges across Kochi and Coimbatore, 13 teams were shortlisted for the next round.
The event encouraged innovative thinking and problem-solving among budding engineers. It gave students an opportunity to showcase their creativity, technical knowledge, and teamwork in addressing real-world challenges in the construction and infrastructure sector.
