Mark it Right

 The student chapter of Builders Association of India (BAI) and the department association ACE jointly organised a Hands on session on setting out titled "Mark it Right". The session was held of 15 September 2026. The resource person was Mr. Athulkrishna V K from PIE Builders and Developers. 

The session introduced the students to the basic concepts of setting out and the procedure adopted to minimise the errors while setting out a structure on the ground. Though students study setting out in the course, learning from a practicing engineer makes a difference as it exposes them to many aspects of execution which are not discussed in classroom.
